Women's Health Leadership TRUST
Situation
The TRUST was started in 1979 as a member-based organization with the primary goal of participants supporting one another professionally. The organization evolved into the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST in 1986 to reflect the group’s vision to expand their leadership role as an influential force in the health care community and strengthen their original purpose to act as a professional networking system. The Forum is WHLT’s signature educational and networking event. In order to help grow the event and its reach, The Event Group, Incorporated was enlisted to provide Sponsorship and Event Logistics support.
Solution
The Event Group, Incorporated approached this client with a strategic plan in mind and facilitated goal-setting sessions. The Event Group established a sponsorship package and selling strategy and also worked with the committee to develop an agenda and format while managing all aspects related to logistics.
Success
The Forum became an annual event presented by the WHLT, and with the help of The Event Group, Incorporated continued to grow and thrive. While The Event Group was involved with the event from 2011 through 2015, The Forum saw a 170% increase in attendance and 565% increase in sponsorships.
